Nicolene Louw brings the drawn line into motion ~ books, editorial illustration and the kind of visual thinking that makes a story easier to step inside.

Nicolene is a Cape Town-based illustrator working in bold linework for editorial publications, children’s books and animation. She’s also a mom, which keeps the children’s work close to home.

She studied graphic design at the University of Pretoria and holds a Master’s in illustration from Stellenbosch University. Her page doubles as a portfolio and a commission gateway for illustration, children’s publishing and live visual recording.
